Family Vacation Memories

We recently had a delightful experience with a lovely family during their trip to Camden, Maine. They make it an annual tradition to explore a new area of Maine together. Kersten reached out to me about a month in advance, and we scheduled two potential dates in case of unfavorable weather or any health concerns. For larger groups like theirs, it's always wise to have a back up plan. Fortunately, the weather was great, and we enjoyed the beautiful afternoon lighting at Laite Memorial Beach.

Vacation is the perfect time to capture family portraits. The daily hustle and bustle of work, children's activities and other responsibilities can make it hard to find the time for photos. However, while on vacation, you can take advantage of beautiful surroundings and enjoy a stress-free environment. This makes it an ideal opportunity to create lasting memories, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion like an engagement, birthday or a milestone anniversary. After all, every mother wants a family portrait to cherish!

Family photos connect us to those who came before. By letting your children see photos from the past and present, they become connected to their own story. They know the family members and ancestors who came before them and helped shape the world and the person they see today.

Little Theo is 17months and when we arrived he was not too sure he wanted his photos taken. As you can see he warmed up to Carl and myself in no time at all and gave us some giggles and great smiles too. Such a cutie!
